Escape Annihilation

What is now known as the Earth War incident is remembered by intelligence operatives around the world for the disgrace it caused Weyland Industries. Many expected that the company’s CEO, Peter Weyland, would receive a harsh sentence during the company’s downfall. They expected payment for his crime of almost causing the end of the world by continuing his father’s cruel and twisted experiments. Just as the trial was about to begin, Peter escaped. It is known at this time that Eugene Weyland, the founder of Weyland Industries, and Alice Weyland, Peter’s daughter, have been reported missing as well. They are wanted as part of the ongoing investigation for the crimes committed years ago.

Before Peter’s escape he managed to acquire a new form of technology from his father that allows him to slip through time itself. Along with it, he has stolen valuable research from the Umbrella Corporation’s scientist, Dr. Birkin. By using several different sources, we have been able to create what we believe is Peter’s strategy. We believe that he has vanished into time and intends to destroy all of humanity in the year 2055 by using a new and extremely deadly virus. We have yet to be able to identify a motive at this time.

The Umbrella Corporation has put together a new group – The Icarus Team. As members of this elite unit, you have been tasked with finding all of the virus samples needed to create a defensive strain that can be used to prevent this global annihilation. The superiors at the Umbrella Corporation have not identified where these samples will be found, only that you will be required to utilize your superior intellect across space and time.
